Frank Dale was my father. He died from bowel cancer when I was 17 years old. I wish I was able to write about all of the wonderful things that he achieved in his life but sadly he died before I was mature enough ask. What I do know though is that he was an incredibly kind and giving man. He was at his happiest when we were all happy and he always put us first and his own needs last. He was a brilliant dad and a wonderful person and I miss him everyday! Over the years I have done various things to honour my dad's memory and whilst some have brought me comfort none felt like they were doing him any justice. So I have decided to take a leaf out of his book and do something that others will benefit from. I am going to donate money to The Christie Hospital each time there is a special occasion that I would have shared with my dad. I hope that my dad's legacy will live on through the amazing work that is done at Christies.
